  Bombs are reported to be aboard Captain Alex Brunel's (Omar Sharif) British cruise ship. Sidney Buckland (Freddie Jones) has planted them and is demanding a ransom. Demolition experts LCDR Fallon (Richard Harris) and Charlie Braddock (David Hemmings) are flown in by helicopter to disarm the bombs. Meanwhile, Scotland yard detective John McLeod (Anthony Hopkins), whose family is aboard the ship, searches for the bomber. A good thriller.

  This is, perhaps, the best of the films made about the William Shakespeare play, which tells the story of Scottish nobleman Macbeth (Jon Finch) who wants power and is driven in his quest by his mad wife Lady Macbeth (Francesca Annis) and many prophecies. Violent, but well told.
