  The South American drug war is the setting for this movie about freelance journalist Fran's (Lisa Blount) quest for the son, Tommy (Willie Aames), of corporate executives (Richard Bright and Karen Black). Fran and her cameraman Mark (Leonard Mann) travel to the Venezuelan jungles where they deal with brutal natives in the hostile environment. They discover a drug cartel run by corrupt Col. Brian Horne (Richard Lynch) who is holding Tommy captive, and now Fran and Mark are caught up in a life-threatening drug war.

  Nightclub stripper Lucy Carlesi (Joan Collins) rejects the advances of a dwarf working at her club. The dwarf then casts a spell on her. Later, Lucy marries Gino (Ralph Bates), and they have a baby who turns out to be a monster emitting eerie howls. Before long, the baby has attacked everyone it comes in contact with, and the blood-letting includes drowning, hanging, and even a beheading.

  This is a strange film, though interesting. After her husband dies in an auto accident, Julia (Kathleen Turner) decides to stay in Italy where she was wed. After a time, she is "transported" into a parallel world in which things turned out differently, and her husband is still alive and they have a child. She then alternately goes back and forth between the two worlds.

But Blade is saved by Burt, who Blade freed after not being able to get a reward. After learning to shoot by sound rather than sight, Blade gets his revenge.
