Squatters have taken up residence on Elias Graves' (David Torrence) land, who, of course tries to get rid of them. Tess, who is devoted to her father (Forrest Robinson), is among the squatters and gets wrapped up in several situations, including a blossoming love for Elias' son Frederick (Lloyd Hughes).
