Award-winning gymnast Haley Graham (Missy Peregrym) suddenly gave up her sport in the middle of a meet and is now dirt biking and in trouble with both her divorced parents (Jon Gries and Gia Carides) and the law. Following her arrest for property damage, Judge Westreich (Polly Holliday) gives Haley a choice of serving time in jail or attending a VGA school run by gymnast Burt Vickerman (Jeff Bridges). Haley opts for the school, but her attitude is negative toward Burt and the other gymnasts–Mina (Maddy Curley), Wei Wei (Nikki SooHoo), and Joanna (Vanessa Lengies). However, by story's end, Haley learns that she can rebel and still be a good person and team player as well.
