Eddie (Dana Carvey) and his pal Lou (Todd Graff) are a pair of small-time con artists–who are also hiding from a creditor. When they break into a house, a phone call reveals that the owners will be absent for a vacation and the caller is the house sitter who will not be able to sit. What a deal! They are able to pay off the loan shark and set up shop in the house. When the owner's parents (Robert Loggia and Doris Belack) come to visit, they believe the pair are house sitters and now the fun really begins as the "heroes" get in over their heads.
