The "It's a Wonderful Life" storyline is tried again in this direct-to-video follow-on to the original "Richie Rich." Our richest-boy-in-the-world hero Richie Rich (David Gallagher) is blamed for the loss of toys intended for an orphanage, but the loss was really caused by the town's brat. Richie wishes he had not been born, but the wish is overheard by Professor Keanbean's (Eugene Levy) wish machine and he is taken back in time. He finally succeeds in getting back and making Christmas better for everyone.
