They continue the bank robberies while FBI agent Melvin Purvis (Ben Johnson) is determined to put an end to their illegal activities. This story is seen through the eyes of Purvis who is behind the gunning down of Dillinger outside the Biograph Theater in Chicago.

  I still have this movie, it was one I first bought when dvds came out and I am going to put it on dvd, it is an excellent movie,really shows what can happen and if you have the strength to survive it.he is and always will be my favorite actor.

The focus is on battle scenes and the macho world of men proving their "manhood." Never mind the fact that most of the story was invented by Roosevelt who loved playing a hero.
