Problems erupt when they encounter a Klingon ship, but Kirk wins the battle, retrieves the coffin, and heads for a ceremony on Vulcan to re-fuse Spock's body.

It is actually a remake of the TV show, and the last segment with George Miller directing is the best story with John Lithgow portraying a terrified passenger on an airplane. Each of the four Directors headed one segment.
