  When mob boss Angelo (Anthony Quinn) is killed by rivals, his bodyguard, Frankie (Sylvester Stallone), seeks out Angelo's daughter, Jennifer (Madeleine Stowe), as he promised he would do, in order to protect her in case she is on the hit men's list. But Jennifer, who had grown up as a foster child, had not known that she was Angelo's daughter. Now, she is out for revenge with Frankie tagging along for the ride. And, of course, they fall in love.
