  Jerry Ferro (Adam Carolla) was a Golden Glove winner when he was 19 but is now working as a carpenter and teaching boxing lessons at the gym. He finds self-respect while training and even manages to begin a romantic relationship with public defender Lindsay Pratt (Heather Juergensen). Now, after a 20-year hiatus, Jerry is training for Olympic gold.
