  The crew–Captain Barney Merritt (Eric Fleming), Sergeant Mahony (Mickey Shaughnessy), Jackie Siegle (Phil Foster), and Imoto (Benson Fang)–are led by General Samuel T. Merritt (Walter Brooke) on the first spaceship heading to Mars. Problems develop when General Merritt tries to sabotage the trip because he believes they are trespassing on God's domain. His son, Captain Merritt, kills him in order to save the mission, and the crew lands on Mars on Christmas day. Special effects are great.

  In this story, set in the future (1970), Victor III (Boris Karloff) is the disfigured grandson of Frankenstein who tries to create life in his own unique way–by employing nuclear power! Because he needs money to generate atomic energy, Victor allows a TV crew to shoot a documentary about his grandfather. When they arrive at his German castle, Victor collects rent from them and then uses the money to buy an atomic reactor, which he employs to kill off crewmembers for spare parts for his creature. But, just like in the case of his grandfather, tragedy ensues.

  Set in Kansas City during Prohibition, this film recreates the jazz age and all the elements that made up the Roaring 20s. World War I veteran Pete Kelly (Jack Webb) plays his trumpet and performs with his jazz band while romancing socialite Ivy Conrad (Janet Leigh). But, life is not easy in the days of Prohibition, and Pete endures frequent confrontations with mob boss Fran McCarg (Edmond O'Brien)–culminating in a shootout at the nightclub. The music makes this film well worth watching, and the many songs include Ella Fitzgerald performing "Hard-Hearted Hannah" and Peggy Lee singing "He Needs Me." Lee received an Academy Award nomination as Best Supporting Actress for her role of mob mistress Rose Hopkins.
