  An orphan, Seymour Krelborn (Rick Moranis), is working in Mr. Mushnik's (Vincent Gardenia) flower shop when he finds a mysterious plant that he names Audrey II–after Audrey (Ellen Greene) on whom he has a crush. The plant sings for its supper. The problem is that Audrey II requires human flesh to live. Seymour uses Audrey's boyfriend Dr. Orin Scrivello (Steve Martin) as the source of food for Audrey II. After Orin dies, Seymour realizes the dangers wrought by Audrey II, and he and Audrey try to defeat Audrey II before it takes over the world. This film has good music, enough humor to please almost anyone, and is a good remake of the 1960 classic.

  Stressed-out air traffic controller Jack Chester (John Candy) is urged to take a vacation. He takes his wife Sandy (Karen Austin), their three children, and their dog to a resort at Citrus Cove, Florida. Instead of being able to relax, Jack endures one problem after another, which includes a sailing race against a snobby foe Jason (Richard Crenna) who he meets at the resort.

Although there are problems at first, the inept Uncle Buck manages to overcome his own faults and wins the respect of the children.

  The year is 1962, and rich-kid Lawrence Whatley Bourne III, who has run up a gambling debt that his wealthy father (George Plimpton) will not pay, sneaks aboard a Peace Corps plane headed to Thailand. Lawrence's seat partner on the plane is Peace Corps worker Tom Tuttle (John Candy). They meet and become friends. Their mission in Thailand is to build a bridge for the local villagers, but opposing forces–the local Communists, an opium warlord, and the CIA–have their own unique plans for the bridge. With help from English speaking At Toon (Gedde Watanabe), Lawrence and Tom finally figure out what is really best for the villagers.
