Alec Ramsey (Kelly Reno) is shipwrecked on an island where he and a black Arabian stallion are the sole survivors. After Alec meets aging horse trainer Henry Dailey (Mickey Rooney), the two train the horse for a championship race–with Alec as the jockey.
