But, N'Galo has double-crossed him, and Edward is put in a coffin and buried. Grave robbers retrieve him, and his "body" is taken to anatomist Dr. Neuhardt (Christopher Lee) who revives him, and now Edward goes on a killing spree seeking revenge for his betrayal.

As he finds success as a composer in Rome, Grieg realizes that he misses long-suffering Nina and Norway, and he returns to his homeland.

Being illegal, such people were often blackmailed, and Melville gets involved with the issue when he takes on the blackmailing in court.
