Based on D.H. Lawrence's novella, this drama involves sisters Yvette (Joanna Shimkus) and Lucille (Harriet Harper) returning home to England from their French school. One day, while on a walk Yvette meets a free-spirited Gypsy (Franko Nero) at his camp and is sexually attracted to him. The Gypsy just may provide the freedom that Yvette longs for from her family's oppressive lifestyle.
