Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead   1990     1 star    PG, 118 min.
Genre: Comedy
Director: Tom Stoppard
Cast: Gary Oldman, Richard Dreyfuss, Tim Roth, Iain Glen, Joanna Miles, Ian Richardson, Joanna Roth, Donald Sumpter, Ljubo Zecevic, Sven Medvesck

This story was written by Tom Stoppard as a play in 1966, and now he adapts it to film in his directorial debut. Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are two minor players in "Hamlet" who wittily chat back and forth waiting for their moments to act. Although there are some good exchanges, this thing drags on–and on–and on.
