In this show-within-a-show, Fred Flintstone (voice of Henry Corden) has the lead role of Scrooge in a local Christmas play of Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol." Fred's starring role goes to his head, and his arrogance leads to him forgetting to buy Christmas presents for his family. But, all ends happily after Fred receives a visit from the Ghost of Christmas Past and sees the error of his ways.
