Baby It's You 1983 R, 105 min. Genre: Comedy / Drama / Romance
Director: John Sayles Cast: Rosanna Arquette, Vincent Spano, Joanna Merlin, Jack Davidson, Frank Vincent, Fisher Stevens, Robert Downey Jr., Matthew Modine, Nick Ferrari, Leora Dana, Bill Raymond, Sam McMurray, Dolores Messina, Liane Alexandra Curtis, Marta Kober
The rich-girl-in-love-with-boy-from-the-other-side-of-the-tracks classic storyline is again used; this time however, it's the 1960s and Jill Rosen (Rosanna Arquette) is an intelligent, college bound Jewish girl, and Albert 'Sheik' Capadilupo (Vincent Spano) is an Italian waiter with aspirations to become a singer. Good performances and script.
