  This 13-episode war adventure centers on flying students who are suspects in a series of murders when they are set up by a Nazi agent known as "The Black Hangman" (Eduardo Cianelli). It is the agent who murdered members of an expedition in order to keep secret the location of a helium deposit in Africa. Our flying heroes are determined to clear their names, and those Nazis better watch out.

  Mollie Truesdale (Jean Arthur) takes a break from her job in New York and goes on vacation in the West. She takes in a rodeo, and handsome cowboy Duke Hudkins (John Wayne) gets hurled into her lap by a bucking bronco. After the rodeo, Mollie misses her bus and is stranded. She shares a hotel room with Duke and his sidekick Waco (Charles Winninger) and falls in love with Duke. When Duke teaches Mollie frontier activities and tries to get her drunk, Mollie becomes upset and leaves. She heads back to New York, but Duke now realizes that he has fallen for Mollie and follows her to tell her that he loves her.

  Based on Arthur Conan Doyle's "The Musgrave Ritual," this story takes place at the Musgrave estate where Dr. Watson (Nigel Bruce) is treating several officers suffering from shell shock. When Musgrave heirs Philip and Geoffrey (Gavin Muir and Frederick Worlock) are found murdered, Sherlock Holmes (Basil Rathbone) comes to investigate and uses the poem "Musgrave Ritual" as a clue in solving the murders. Look for young, unbilled Peter Lawford in a bit part as a drunken sailor.
