Auto racing provides the setting for this story of evil in a fast-paced world involving under-the-table money exchanges. Professional killers Charlie (Lee Marvin) and Lee (Clu Gulager) force their way into a school for the blind and kill teacher Johnny North (John Cassavetes). Johnny had once been a Formula One race car driver and had been involved in a million dollar heist. Charlie and Lee seek out the identity of the man behind the robbery, and the trail leads to Johnny's friend Earl Sylvester (Claude Akins) and beautiful Sheila Farr (Angie Dickinson)–and then to the low-down, dirty, cruel crime boss, Jack Browning (Ronald Reagan). This was Reagan's last movie. 1 User Review
