Struggling actor Tommy Noonan (played by himself) is hired by stripper Saxie Symbol (Mamie Van Doren), used-car salesman Joe Lynch (Paul Gilbert), and male model Bruce Bernard (John Cronin) to visit a psychiatrist, Dr. Maya Von (Ziva Rodann), and act out their problems, thus saving them money because they won't have to make separate appointments. Tommy's appointments are aired accidentally on TV, a Hollywood producer buys the rights, and the "3 nuts" earn enough money to really enjoy life.
