Ship Ahoy   1942     2 stars    N/R, 95 min.
Genre: Musical
Director: Edward Buzzell
Cast: Eleanor Powell, Red Skelton, Bert Lahr, Virginia O'Brien, William Post Jr., Jimmy Cross, Philip Ahn, Stuart Crawford, John Emery, Bernard Nedell

An ocean liner is on its way to Puerto Rico and enemies of the U.S. are onboard to steal plans for a new mine. The lame plot is really a vehicle for the band of Tommy Dorsey (with Buddy Rich on the drums, Ziggy Elman on the trumpet, and Frank Sinatra singing), the dancing of Eleanor Powell, and the comic routines of Red Skelton.
