All goes well–until gang members Captain Ross (James Mason), Katnaga (Jean Topart), Whitey (Michel Constantin), and Faustountil (Luigi Pistilli) reappear in Joe's life and kidnap his family. Their purpose is to force Joe into drug smuggling. In turn, Joe kidnaps Ross' mistress (Jill Ireland), and battles ensue.

Jeffries takes the Stranger home, hypnotizes him, and gives him instructions to kill Jeffries' wife Frances (Jill Ireland) and her lover Paul (Henri Garcin). The Stranger, in his hypnotized state, sets off to do the killings, but will Jeffries change the plans before both are killed?
