Molly Ringwald deserves the half-star for this otherwise piece of trash. Film students set out to complete a horror film that had been started years before and stopped when the director died. But there was more involved with stopping the film than that, and the students find out when the killing starts. So bad that the film may well develop a cult following.

Mephistopheles orders Johnny to kill his son, Blackheart (Wes Bentley), who is determined to displace his father and take over the world's evil business. As if Johnny doesn't have enough to deal with, his girlfriend Roxanne (Eva Mendes) has reentered his life, and he is trying to retrieve what they once had.
