  Roy King (Lee Van Cleef) and his outlaw gang rob a bank, and, while leaving on a train, King meets and marries beautiful Alice (Gina Lollobrigida). But, Alice has set King up and steals the loot. Now, Senor Montero (James Mason) offers King's outlaw gang $1 million to blow up a Mexican fortress, but the outlaws are once again outsmarted by the devious Alice.

Now, the Patriarch's sons–David (also played by Frank), Adam (Klaus Grunberg), and Eli (Marc Mazza)–have put a bounty on Philipp. They had not only framed Philipp but also caused Clayton to lose his job, and Philipp and Clayton set out to confront them and reveal the truth about the Patriarch's murder.

When Arthur crosses the Greek-Turkish border, the Turkish police find arms in his car and suspect him of arms smuggling for terrorists and arrest him. Arthur is released after he agrees to act as a spy for them. Now, Arthur has the dilemma of saving himself or remaining loyal to Elizabeth and the plans for the robbery. Ustinov received his second Oscar as Best Supporting Actor.
