  Oversexed Professor Dennis Burke (Peter Coyote) wrote a popular novel 20 years ago and has been living off that ego trip ever since. Burke starts reading letters addressed to the former tenant of his apartment that are from a prisoner (Nastassja Kinski), strikes up a friendship with her, and then tries to prove that she is innocent. But is she?

  Based on John Grisham's novel about jury tampering, this film centers on a lawsuit against the company that manufactured the murder gun. Meanwhile, as part of the defense team, Fitch (Gene Hackman) assesses the potential jurors to ensure that the verdict will favor the gun company. But, juror Nick Easter (John Cusack) appears to have his own plans for swaying the jury.   Have said this many times by mouth........Great movie,must see!!! Intriguing and exciting. Very well cast! Have seen many times, and am never disappointed! Watch this, you won't be bored or indifferent. Strikes a chord of sympathy you didn't know you had. Stellar performances by all!!!

  Very entertaining film. Loved the action, the actors were outstanding in each of there rolls. Not for everybody, but very original and well made.
