Pirate captain Bully Hayes (Tommy Lee Jones), who has his own romantic interest in Sophie, rescues Nate (Michael O'Keefe), and, together, they sail the seas searching for Sophie with the plan of securing her safe release from the captors.

  Based on Barbara Taylor Bradford's popular novel of the same name, this TV miniseries tells the story of Emma Harte, who started as a poor shop girl and rose to head a vast empire. In the process, she overcame many obstacles, including the social issues of the 1890s-1930s in England. Jenny Seagrove plays the young Emma, and Deborah Kerr is the older Emma. Followed by a sequel: "Hold the Dream." Kerr received an Emmy nomination for her acting, and the production was also nominated for Best Miniseries.
