Intense and scary. Weaver continues her good performances and received an Oscar nomination. The film also received two Oscars (Best Visual Effects and Sound Effects Editing) and was nominated for four others.

Pesci is great as the fast-talking accountant who thinks he has a foolproof scheme of his own.

But, Caleb must prove himself to the others of the clan–which he does. A good film that presents a "modern-day" vampire story as they roam around in their van. Could this be the first vampire "Road" picture?

This is a milestone film in that two generations of starship officers, Kirk and Picard, work together to stop an alien from destroying the universe.
