Marshall) and Charlie (Don Murray)–reveal their own marital difficulties, and Charlie must decide whether or not to cheat on his wife with a beatnik (Carolyn Jones) who he meets at a Greenwich Village party. By the end of the bachelor party, the guest-of-honor as well as the party givers are affected by their night of revelry. Carolyn Jones was nominated for a Best Supporting Actress Oscar.
