  Newly graduated from New York University with a doctorate in Eastern Philosophy, Dalton (Patrick Swayze) lands a job as a bouncer at the Double Duce road house in Jasper, Missouri. Dalton strikes up a romance with physician Doc Clay (Kelly Lynch) and all goes well–until the town's crime boss, Brad Wesley (Ben Gazzara), interferes because Doc is his ex-girlfriend. This is one of the best Patrick Swayze movies that I have seen!!!!!!!!! He played the role of Dalton to perfection!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The scene where he told the other bouncers to always "Be Nice" was great and he always was. I also think that Sam Elliott is a super actor!!!!!!!!!!! This movie was just AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVED IT AND PATRICK SWAYZE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you like the good guy coming to the rescue - with a romantic twist, it is a fun movie. My favorite line - "I thought you would be bigger."

Favorite part? Scenes with Sam Elliott. The rest was just macho stuff that is so unlikely to happen that it took the fun out of the movie.
