This low-budget Italian flick is another in the long line of horror/thrillers popular in the 1970s. Gregory (Jean Sorel) appears to be dead on his arrival at the hospital, even though his body temperature is still normal. He is duly declared dead and sent for an autopsy. But Gregory is indeed alive, though paralyzed, and as he awaits the autopsy he tries to figure out what happened to place him here. Good, creepy film.

This and many other questions are answered in one of Fulci's better films, which has many twists, turns, and red herrings.
