Indian Affairs agent Rex Moffett (Lloyd Bridges) arrives in a small town in Arizona to investigate a series of stagecoach holdups that are made to appear like Apaches are on the warpath. He meets and falls in love with Anne LeBeau (Joan Taylor) who is the daughter of a White French father and an Apache mother. It isn't long before Ray and Marge are on the lam–with crooked narcotics agent Antheil (Anthony Zerbe) close behind.
