The 1990s' TV show is brought to closure with this movie that brings "everyone" back for a bow. "Gee" (Yaphet Kotto), the former head of the Homicide Division, is running for mayor and a would-be killer sends him to the emergency room. As he balances between life and death, his old crew gets together to track down the gunman. Those who watched the series will get more out of the dialogue than the others who do not know much about the series' episodes.
