  Set during World War II, young and beautiful Marie (Catherine Deneuve) and her lazy husband, Jerome (Philippe Noiret), live near the Normandy shore. She longs to move to Paris, but the indifferent Jerome refuses to leave. Along comes French Resistance agent, Julien (Henri Garcin), who is preparing for the Allied invasion. He is more preoccupied with chasing Marie than his work, it seems, but so is the local German commander, who sets up headquarters at her chateau in order to be closer to her. This is the English-dubbed title.
