  In this sequel, the story begins with Mitch Robbins (Billy Crystal) walking down the street telling his friend that he is getting too heavy. This time around, Mitch is lamenting the death of Curly, and, with his two friends Glen and Duke (Jon Lovitz and Daniel Stern) heads for the hills around Las Vegas and join Curly's twin brother Duke (Jack Palance) in search of a buried treasure.

  American newsman Stephen Fitzgerald (Tyrone Power) is visiting Ireland when he meets a leprechaun, Horace (Cecil Kellaway), and later confronts him with his pot of gold. After Stephen tells the leprechaun that he will not take his gold, the leprechaun is obligated to return the favor. The leprechaun follows Stephen back to New York and tries to clear the way for a romance with sweet Irish colleen Nora (Anne Baxter) who Stephen had met in Ireland. But, Stephen is now seeing the daughter, Frances (Jayne Meadows), of his corrupt boss, D.C. Augur (Lee J. Cobb). When Nora visits New York and sees Stephen and Frances together, she returns to Ireland. With the leprechaun's guidance, Stephen denounces Auger, quits his job, and leaves for Ireland to find Nora.

  I really like this movie....it shows the "other" side of what goes on with pageants and what winning can mean to your life. I really enjoyed Diane Lane and Debra Lynn Rogers and Stephanie Dunnam!
