In this second (and last) sequel to "Resident Evil," which was based on a video game series, the dreaded virus that turns living creatures and humans into flesh-eating zombies has been released to the countryside by the evil Umbrella Corporation. Alice (Milla Jovovich), who has been genetically altered and has superhuman strength, along with the few remaining survivors, heads for Alaska where the virus has not yet been released. But, she is also on the lookout to take on Umbrella once and for all–and they, in turn are out to take on Alice once and for all.
