"Hitch" (directed by Bradley Rust Gray)-Two friends, one gay and one straight, take a road trip through the Southwest. "Inside Out" (directed by Jason Gould)-The gay son of two celebs demonstrates how difficult that can be when he's always hounded by reporters. (Jason is the son of Elliott Gould and Barbra Streisand.) "Just One Time" (directed by Lane Janger)-This short became a full-length feature by the same name with the same cast. A man wants his fiancee to have sex with another woman. "$30" (directed by Gregory Cooke)-A gay teen's father hires a hooker to help the boy grow up.

  While going through a mid-life crisis, a Southern, unemployed football coach Tom Wingo (Nick Nolte), goes to New York where his sister Savannah (Melinda Dillon) has tried to commit suicide. Savannah's psychiatrist, Susan Lowenstein (Barbra Streisand), wants Tom to reveal memories about his childhood and their domineering mother Lila (Kate Nelligan). At first, Tom is reluctant but then learns that the answer for all of them is telling the truth about their past lives. The film received seven Oscar nominations, including Best Picture, Actor (Nolte), and Supporting Actress (Nelligan).
