Jack presents a pendant that has powers and tells Ethan to seek out the modern-day incarnation of the warrior's lover, which, after she reaches age 20, they will be able to call up Imoogi dragons to take on the Buraki. Later, Ethan (now played by Jason Behr) does meet up with the woman, Sarah (Amanda Brooks). And yes, the Buraki are released on Los Angeles, wreaking havoc, and yes, the Ethan/Sarah duo take on the monsters via the Imoogi.
