This film involves three couples who want to start their own families. Brad (James Naughton), who already had a daughter from a previous marriage, deals with his young wife (Bess Armstrong) who wants to start a family of their own. Diana and Andy Douglas (Gabrielle Carteris and Bruce Greenwood) have problems conceiving, and then there's Charles (Scott Baio) who figures out that his wife, Beth (Alexandra Paul), is not ready to be a parent. Based on Danielle Steele's novel.
