Tomboy juvenile delinquent Paschal (Esther Purvis-Smith) is a ward of the state who is sent to the foster home of Charles Armstrong (Duncan Regehr), a successful horse breeder. Clancy is spoiled rotten and cares only about bringing a horse to a championship. Meanwhile, Paschal cares for Primo Baby, a horse that has a congenital eye defect.
