A gangster, The Ghost (Ricardo Cortez), blackmails ex-con "Pop" Bronson (Emmett Lynn) into storing his mass of stolen tires. But, when "Pop's" daughter, Julie (Jean Parker), learns what is happening, she tries to save her father. Her efforts fail after a rival gang beats up The Ghost. The Ghost thinks that "Pop" Bronson is responsible and exacts revenge by shooting him in front of Julie.
