Based on a Canadian Mounted Police case, this story takes place in 1931 and concerns a trapper, Albert Johnson (Charles Bronson), who is accused of murder. He is tracked down by Canadian Mountie Sgt. As he flees across Canada, Johnson knows the territory well, but Millen uses the Canadian police when he needs help–all of which leads to a deadly climax.
