The problems begin when the regularly scheduled poker game takes place and lottery tickets are to be put up as the bet. To add to the problems, Avery arrives to claim his wallet and stays for the game. Good character development and gambling scenes.

People in town assumed that he could not hear nor speak, so would confide in him when they needed to talk. Then along comes Archibald (James Earl Jones), the junkman, who learns the truth. Not bad. Made for TV.
