Walter Matthau as lawyer Harmon Cobb returns to his small town (following "The Incident" in 1990) in this made-for-TV film. This time, a rapist returns after a 13-year absence and is murdered. | | Surprise ending | Smokey 04/06/2009 | | I didn't really want to go see this movie in 1976. But the surprise ending has stuck with me all these years and after all these years it is still one of my favorites. Cliff Robertson was great in it too! |
