  Convict Robin Shay (Rebecca De Mornay) dreams of becoming a rock star. She makes a deal with the prison handyman Billy Moran (Vincent Spano) to marry her and help her chance of probation. He agrees, and Robin is released from prison, but Billy soon learns that Robin will not enter into a sexual relationship with him. Now, Laura forms a band, seduces gubernatorial candidate James Tiernan (Frank Langella), and becomes a singing star.

  This is a sequel, of sorts, to Roger Corman's "Munchies" (1987), but there is only one Munchie (voice of Dom DeLuise) left, and he is child-friendly. Young Gage Dobson (Jaime McEnnan) finds a crate in an abandoned mine, and the crate contains Munchie. With the power to grant wishes, Munchie takes care of Gage's problems–such as dealing with bullies and low grades.
