In this dark, dark comedy/thriller, Robert (Christophe Malavoy) moves to a quiet town to overcome his depression resulting from a divorce. With no erotic intent, he spies on his neighbor, Juliette (Mathilda May), and finds that she leads a well-rounded life. When Juliette breaks off with her boyfriend, Patrick (Jacques Penot), in order to pursue Robert, Patrick intends to get revenge.
