Yuddy was raised by his ex-prostitute aunt (Rebecca Pan) who would not reveal the name of his birth-mother–until she makes plans to move to the U.S. When Yuddy learns that his birth-mother is in the Philippines, he heads there in pursuit.

Li now works for an inept martial arts movie star, Frankie Lane (Jacky Cheung), as his stunt double. When Li accompanies Lane to a party, he runs into "The Doctor" once again. "The Doctor" is engineering a jewel heist; violence ensues, including Li getting hold of a police helicopter and crashing into the penthouse where the robbery is in progress.
