As a recent widower, Riggs is a loose cannon, and Murtaugh, who is about to celebrate his 50th birthday, is a cautious family man. They are on the trail of trained killers led by The General (Mitch Ryan) whose top henchman Joshua (Gary Busey) will stop at nothing to achieve success in drug smuggling. The idea was good, but that's about all for this film.
