Patrick Bergin plays Dr. Victor Frankenstein, creator of the "monster" (Randy Quaid) that develops a rage against Frankenstein and kills Frankenstein's bride, Elizabeth (Fiona Gillies). Frankenstein chases his monster to the Arctic and then discovers that he has both a physical and psychic link to the monster when he learns that if the monster is wounded, Frankenstein also suffers.
