While treasure hunting on a Greek island, Frye (James Earl Jones) unleashes a sea monster that terrorizes the residents, killing all in its path. Nereus (Jose Ferrer) has been studying the monster and knows of one way the natives can deal with it: sacrifice a virgin. Will the enticing Madeline Grice (Deborah Shelton) fill that role? Nice photography, good cast, not-so-good movie.
