A student at a private school, Janet (Jennie Linden) witnessed her mother murdering her father and now is experiencing nightmares. Her mother is in an insane asylum, but Janet leaves school and returns to the family's mansion where her nightmares continue amidst a strange group of residents (Irene Richmond, David Knight, Moira Redmond, and George A. Cooper)–two of whom are plotting to take control of Janet's inheritance.
